MAXBERG LONG TILES - CORNER ELEMENTS
In our regular offer we have corner pieces with dimensions of 37cm x 10 cm, which come in every available shade and also in colors developed to individual order.
They can be used on the corner edges of facades, but also on window stiles and building elements that require special detailing. However, the use of corners as finished elements is not necessary, as it is equally aesthetically pleasing to cut the tile on the corners at an angle of 45 degrees.
LONG FACADE TILES - WITH OR WITHOUT GROUT
LONG concrete tile can be laid both with and without grout. It all depends on the project and the final effect you want to achieve. However, when laying it without grout, it is important to remember to take special care at the execution stage in terms of:

– use of high-quality frost-resistant and flexible adhesive, applied evenly over the entire surface of the tile,
– use of expansion joints when gluing large areas.

When deciding to install Long tiles with grout, we recommend finer and plastic grout. Ideally, the grout should contain tras – a mineral, the addition of which to the mortar reduces possible salts and efflorescence that can form on the tiles under the influence of moisture. The color of the grout is an individual issue, but it should be remembered that the color of the grout significantly translates into the final effect you get on the wall. If you choose a color close to the color of the tiles, the drawing and geometry of the tiles will be barely visible and very uniform. With contrasting grout, whether lighter or darker than the tile, the effect will be pronounced and the geometry of the tiles AND the laying lines will be definitely visible.
